Bradgate
Bradgate Park Management Plan
We completed a Conservation Plan for this highly treasured Country Park in Leicestershire. Originally home of Lady Jane Grey, the Tudor house now stands as an impressive red brick ruin within the wider park, which originated as a medieval deer park and has been continually stocked with deer ever since. The park is also home to an outstanding collection of veteran trees, highly distinctive in their pollarded character and contributing to the unique character and ecology of the site, along with geological and archaeological features of international importance. Our Plan brought together a clear understanding of all of these significances and provided a series of holistic management proposals to enable the Bradgate Park Trust conserve and enhance the richness of the site and its offer to the visiting public.
